Cara Yeates

Cara Yeates is a talented Canadian filmmaker currently residing in New York City, where she operates her boutique production company, Trigger Creative. Her latest work, the short film "Gone Before Your Eyes," is set to premiere on PBS in July. This poignant narrative earned her the Best Director of a Narrative Short Film accolade at the Queens World Film Festival in New York. The film had its debut at the Woodstock Film Festival the previous fall and has since been showcased in eighteen film festivals, including prestigious events such as the Mill Valley and Sedona Film Festivals. Additionally, "Gone" secured the Best Narrative Short award at the Buffalo International Film Festival and the Audience Choice Award at the Bowery Film Festival.

Cara's journey began in the theater, where she crafted and performed a series of solo shows that toured across North America. These performances garnered critical acclaim, with reviews describing them as "blistering," "a tour-de-force," and "irresistible."
