Picabo Street, born on April 3, 1971, is a distinguished former American alpine ski racer who made her mark on the World Cup circuit and achieved Olympic glory. Street captured the gold medal in the super G event at the 1998 Winter Olympics, further solidifying her status as one of the sport's elite athletes. Her impressive career also includes a championship win in the downhill at the 1996 World Championships, contributing to her collection of five Olympic and World Championship medals.

In addition to her Olympic success, Street made history in the World Cup series, becoming the first American woman to claim downhill season titles in consecutive years, 1995 and 1996.
