Shannon Larkin

James Shannon Larkin, born on September 24, 1970, is a renowned drummer celebrated for his role in the rock band Godsmack. Joining the group in June 2002, he succeeded Tommy Stewart and quickly became a vital part of their sound and success. Before his tenure with Godsmack, Larkin showcased his drumming talents in several notable bands, including Amen, Candlebox, Ugly Kid Joe, and Souls at Zero, where he honed his skills and developed a distinctive style.

From a young age, Larkin was drawn to music, picking up the drums at just 10 years old. Though his parents were not musicians, they instilled a deep appreciation for various genres, introducing him to iconic artists such as The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Jimi Hendrix.
