Alina Burroughs is a distinguished former Crime Scene Investigator who dedicated over two decades to the Orange County (FL) Sheriff's Office. Throughout her impressive 21-year tenure in law enforcement, Burroughs played a pivotal role in thousands of cases, including numerous high-profile violent crime investigations. For 12 years, she specialized as a Crime Scene Investigator and earned the prestigious designation of Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst from the International Association for Identification (IAI).

In addition to her investigative work, Burroughs has shared her expertise by teaching various forensic science and technology subjects, serving as an instructor who has shaped the next generation of crime scene professionals. Her exceptional investigative abilities have garnered recognition from both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Furthermore, she has contributed her knowledge to the field through her published research in the Journal of Forensic Identification.

Burroughs holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, where she graduated with honors and was recognized by both the National Criminal Justice Honors Society and the American Criminal Justice Association.
