Mert Ramazan Demir, born in 1998 in the Şile district of Istanbul, Turkey, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as both an actor and model. His passion for sports in high school, particularly in soccer and basketball, laid a foundation of discipline that would benefit his later artistic pursuits. He honed his acting skills at the Dialogue Communication Academy under noted instructors and subsequently joined the Beykent University Conservatory Program, where he collaborated with esteemed directors Ali Bilgin and Semih Bağcı in camera acting.
Demir's breakout role came in the film "I Am You," directed by Sonia Nassery Cole, where he starred alongside Damla Sönmez, Cansu Tosun, and Ushan Çakır. His preparation for this role included learning Dari, showcasing his dedication to authenticity. He also undertook horse riding and sword fighting training for the historical series "Rise of Empires: Ottoman." In 2019, he appeared in the youth film "Sesinde Aşk Var" and the horror project "Üç Harfliler: Adak," further diversifying his portfolio.
His recent works include leading roles in the mini-series "Çıplak" and the youth series "Öğretmen," as well as appearances in "Yalı Çapkın" and "Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları." Demir has also featured in Netflix projects like "UFO" and "Şahmaran," and starred in the surreal crime series "Ölüm Zamanı" on Exxen. Beyond acting, he has modeled for brands such as Mercedes Benz, Gant, and Trendyol, and is currently the face of Dimes Cool Lime in advertisements.
