Hilja Varem

Hilja Varem, known as Hilja Vee since 1960, was born on July 19, 1934, in Põltsamaa, Estonia. She has made a significant mark in the world of acting, particularly within the Estonian theatre scene.

Her professional journey began at Ugala Theatre, where she performed from 1956 to 1959. Following this, she became a prominent member of Endla Theatre, contributing her talents from 1959 until 1975. Varem’s theatrical prowess continued to shine at Noorsooteater, where she captivated audiences from 1976 to 1992. Throughout her career, she has not only showcased her skills on stage but has also made appearances in various film projects, further expanding her artistic repertoire.
