Ann Robinson, born on May 25, 1929, in Hollywood, California, is a distinguished American actress known for her contributions to film and television. Her career took off in the 1950s when she was signed by Paramount Pictures. Robinson gained prominence with her memorable portrayal of "Sylvia Van Buren" in the iconic 1953 film, The War of the Worlds. This role not only defined her early career but also marked a remarkable return when she reprised it in three episodes of the War of the Worlds television series 35 years later.
