James Grixoni
James David Grixoni, originally from Seattle, Washington, embarked on his artistic journey at the tender age of fourteen, studying for four years at a local conservatory. His professional theatre career commenced at eighteen with his role in "Peter Pan" at Book-it Theatre. Although he initially focused on theatre, James soon redirected his passion toward film, forming a comedy troupe and participating in local independent films. His big break came when he was invited to shadow Tobey Maguire as a body double in Jacob Aaron Estes's "The Details," an experience that proved to be pivotal in his development as an actor.
After a few years, James explored new artistic avenues while performing with a punk band in Philadelphia. This period culminated in his role in "The Bhakti Boy," directed by Joy Marzec, which further refined his craft in front of the camera. Upon returning to the West Coast, he expanded his repertoire by working on a diverse range of projects, including films, television series, music videos, and shorts. Notable works include "Worst Laid Plans," directed by Mark Jones and Nesib CB Shamah, "You Can't Win," directed by Robinson Devor, and the iconic series "Twin Peaks," helmed by David Lynch.
As he continues to evolve as an artist, James incorporates yoga and meditation into his daily routine, recognizing their positive impact on his life. He also practices comedy regularly, believing that laughter is essential for well-being.
