Jerry White Jr.

Jerry White Jr. embarked on his filmmaking journey as a teenager, beginning with public access television in Metro Detroit in the early 1990s. His passion for DIY guerrilla filmmaking propelled him to earn a Master of Fine Arts from the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts. As a versatile director, actor, and producer, Jerry has showcased his work at over a hundred film festivals globally, amassing numerous accolades and achieving international distribution for his ambitious project, *20 Years of Madness*, which took over two decades to complete.

In 2017, Jerry established the Vidlings & Tapeheads Film Festival, an initiative dedicated to fostering unconventional storytelling and uniting a diverse community of innovative filmmakers, musicians, and artists. His affinity for niche creative subcultures, outsider artists, and dedicated amateurs is evident in his films, which often explore unique perspectives and unconventional narratives. Through his work and contributions to the film community, Jerry White Jr. has solidified his reputation as a champion of progressive and eclectic storytelling in the cinematic landscape.
