Aideen Wylde
Aideen Wylde is a talented actor and playwright, currently pursuing her PhD in the Department of Drama & Theatre Studies at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick. She honed her skills at the DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama and earned a Master’s degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from University College Cork.
As a dynamic member of BrokenCrow, a multidisciplinary ensemble dedicated to innovative storytelling, Aideen has made significant contributions to contemporary theatre. Her debut play, *Levin & Levin*, premiered at the Dublin Fringe Festival in 2017, captivating audiences with the tale of Ida and Bubbie Levin, Jewish escapees from Russian pogroms who rise to fame as Weimar's renowned male impersonators.
In addition to her work on *Levin & Levin*, Aideen co-created and starred in the acclaimed play *Love All* in 2012, which achieved remarkable success. She also participated in The Next Stage, a program focused on artist development during the Dublin Theatre Festival in 2016, showcasing her commitment to advancing her craft.
Aideen's academic pursuits include a certificate in Holocaust Education from Trinity College Dublin, reflecting her passion for integrating historical narratives into her artistic endeavors. Her blend of performance, writing, and scholarship continues to enrich the cultural landscape of Irish theatre.
