Michael Abbott Jr. hails from East Tennessee and is an alumnus of The North Carolina School of the Arts Drama School. His career has been marked by numerous performances in stage productions throughout New York City and across the nation, showcasing his talent in some of the most esteemed regional theaters in the country. A dedicated member of the acclaimed Acting Company, founded by the Tony Award-winning John Houseman, Michael has made significant contributions to the theatrical landscape. In 2007, he marked his entry into film with a notable role in Jeff Nichols’ debut feature, Shotgun Stories, which garnered attention for its compelling storytelling.
