Barbara Sheldon

Barbara Sheldon (November 24, 1912 – October 19, 2007) was an American actress who made her mark in the film industry during the early 1930s. She embarked on her acting journey in 1933, debuting in the films *Stolen by Gypsies* and *Beer and Bicycles*, both released that same year. However, it was her performance alongside the legendary John Wayne in the 1934 film *The Lucky Texan* that became her most recognized role. Following this notable appearance, Barbara found herself facing a lack of new opportunities, which ultimately led her to step away from the spotlight and retire from acting.
