Vanda Margraf
Vanda Margraf, born in 2003 in the lush, original rainforest region of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, hails from a family deeply rooted in environmental conservation. Her father, a German ecologist, dedicates his efforts to the restoration of the tropical rainforests in Xishuangbanna, while her mother is a prominent advocate for environmental issues.
In 2012, Vanda gained significant attention after participating in the "China Talent Show," showcasing her artistic abilities. Her passion for performance led her to pursue a formal education in the arts, and in 2017, she was accepted into the Song and Dance Major at the prestigious Middle School of the Beijing Dance Academy.
On March 18, 2019, Vanda took a significant step into the entertainment world by signing a contract with Zedong Film Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the renowned filmmaker Wong Kar-wai. This marked her official entry into the film industry, culminating in her debut performance in the movie "Ip Man 4." Vanda’s journey is a testament to her talent and dedication, as she continues to forge her path in the realms of dance and film while remaining connected to her ecological roots.
