Prithviraj Sukumaran

Prithviraj Sukumaran, born on October 16, 1982, is a prominent figure in Malayalam cinema, celebrated for his multifaceted talents as an actor, director, producer, and playback singer. He burst onto the film scene at the young age of 19 with his debut in the film Nandanam (2002) and swiftly established himself as one of the most innovative and adventurous actors of his era.

Throughout the 2000s, Prithviraj captivated audiences with a diverse array of films, including Vellithira (2003), Swapnakoodu (2003), and Vellinakshatram (2004). His role in Classmates (2006) marked a significant achievement, as it became the highest-grossing Malayalam film at the time. Other notable performances include Vaasthavam (2006), Puthiya Mukham (2009)—which propelled him to superstardom—along with memorable roles in Thalappavu (2008), and Anwar (2010).

His career continued to flourish with major hits and critically acclaimed dramas such as Urumi (2011), Indian Rupee (2011), and Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020). Prithviraj also ventured into directing with the blockbuster Lucifer (2019), which became a monumental success in the industry.
