Sarah Hoffmeister is an emerging actress who recently landed her first significant film role, starring alongside Katie Holmes in "The Secret: Dare to Dream," which is adapted from a popular novel. In the film, Hoffmeister portrays 'Missy Wells,' the troubled teenage daughter of 'Miranda Wells' (Holmes). Following the death of their father, the Wells family finds it challenging to embrace life’s joys until 'Bray Johnson' (played by Josh Lucas) steps into their world. Hoffmeister's character evolves from a sullen teenager to an uplifting influence, encouraging her mother to explore a new relationship with 'Bray' and embrace life’s changes. She secured this role with just one self-taped audition and received the exciting news of her casting within weeks.

Raised by the beach in California, Hoffmeister began participating in elementary school plays to engage in after-school activities. This blossomed into a passion for performance, leading her to community theater and background acting to gain experience on set. Her career progressed with commercials and short films, including a guest appearance as 'Jamie Cohen' in the second season of the popular Fox series "9-1-1." As she looks to the future, Hoffmeister aspires to collaborate with versatile actresses like Margot Robbie and Emma Stone, aiming to portray a diverse array of characters across genres, from action and sci-fi to comedy and drama.

Outside her acting pursuits, Sarah actively contributes to community service. Through her church youth group, she has participated in hurricane relief efforts in Houston and plans to volunteer in Puerto Rico soon. A passionate surfer, she helps with A Walk on Water (AWOW), an organization offering surf therapy to children with physical and mental challenges, teaching them to surf while enjoying the soothing effects of the ocean. Hoffmeister is also dedicated to environmental issues and has supported the ASPCA and the African Wildlife Foundation, aspiring to work with STAR Eco Station, an organization that cares for exotic animals rescued from smuggling.
