Holly Robinson Peete
Holly Elizabeth Robinson Peete, born on September 18, 1964, is a renowned American actress and singer. She gained fame for her portrayal of Judy Hoffs in the Fox police drama 21 Jump Street and as Vanessa Russell on the ABC sitcom Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. Her extensive television credits also include Billie Blessings in the Morning Show Mysteries series, Christina on Mike & Molly, Clea on Love Inc., Tanya Ward in Like Family, Dr. Malena Ellis on the NBC/The WB sitcom For Your Love, and Diana Ross in the 1992 miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream. Additionally, she was one of the original co-hosts of CBS Daytime's talk show The Talk.
Holly, alongside her husband, former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, has co-hosted reality shows such as Meet the Peetes and For Peete's Sake, showcasing their family life. They also serve as hosts for the reality dating show Queens Court, which premiered in 2023. Since their marriage in 1995, the couple has welcomed four children.
In 2011, Holly authored a children's book titled My Brother Charlie, which earned her an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work. Notably, her father, Matt Robinson, was famously known as the original Gordon on Sesame Street, adding a legacy of entertainment to her family background.
