Bonnie Holiday
Bonnie Holiday was an American adult film actress whose career spanned the 1970s and early 1980s. Initially starting her journey as a stripper, she made her entry into the adult film world by producing loops before transitioning to feature films. Her notable debut came in 1973 with Alex de Renzy's *Lady Freaks*, a film that also starred Annette Haven, whom Holiday not only introduced to the adult industry but also became romantically involved with. The two women, along with Holiday's husband, reportedly shared a complex relationship, which ultimately soured due to jealousy over Haven's connection with her husband. While Haven ascended to stardom during the Golden Age of Porn, Holiday's own trajectory in the industry did not reach similar heights.
In addition to her film work, Holiday appeared in the 1970 documentary *A History of the Blue Movie*, which showcased early stag films from 1915 to 1970. One of her standout performances is featured in the XRCO Hall of Fame film *Desires Within Young Girls* from 1977. After several years in the industry, Bonnie Holiday chose to retire from adult films around 1980, leaving behind a legacy that reflects the complexities of personal and professional relationships in the adult entertainment sphere.
