Chrissy Houlahan
Christina Marie "Chrissy" Houlahan (née Jampoler), born on June 5, 1967, is an accomplished American politician, engineer, and former officer in the United States Air Force. Currently affiliated with the Democratic Party, she serves as the U.S. representative for Pennsylvania's 6th congressional district. This district encompasses nearly all of Chester County, a suburban area located to the west of Philadelphia, along with the southern segment of Berks County, which includes the city of Reading.
Houlahan made her political debut in 2018, successfully winning her seat in Congress by defeating Republican candidate Greg McCauley during the midterm elections. Her election was notable not only for its outcome but also for her representation of a diverse constituency that spans suburban and urban areas.
