Babis Galiatsatos
Babis Galiatsatos, born in Athens in 1981, is a prominent figure in the Greek theater scene. He honed his craft at the National Theatre of Greece's drama school, laying the foundation for a diverse and impactful career. Galiatsatos has collaborated with some of Greece's most esteemed theater directors, showcasing his talent on both national and international stages.
His performances have graced numerous prestigious festivals across Europe, including NEXT FESTIVAL at Le Phénix in Valenciennes, France, and the Cultural European Forum at the Abbaye de Noirlac. His artistic journey has also taken him to the São Luiz Teatro Municipal in Lisbon, the bitef festival in Belgrade, and the Radikal Jung Festival in Munich, among others.
Since 2010, Galiatsatos has ventured into adapting novels for the stage and has directed various successful productions in Greece, highlighting his versatility and creativity within the theatrical landscape. He made his mark in film as well, appearing in Yorgos Lanthimos's debut feature, "Kinetta," and contributing to the popular ITV series "The Durrells."
