Jeff Dye is a multifaceted American comedian, actor, and television host known for his engaging stage presence and sharp wit. He first gained notable recognition as the host of two MTV series, *Numbnuts* and *Money From Strangers*, and made appearances on *Girl Code*. Dye showcased his comedic talent as a finalist on NBC's sixth season of *Last Comic Standing*, where he secured third place, trailing behind Marcus and winner Iliza Shlesinger. Following this success, he toured across 50 cities with fellow top competitors.

His stand-up has been featured at prestigious events, including the TBS Comedy Festival in Chicago and Comedy Central's *Live At Gotham*. In 2010, he starred in his own half-hour special, *Comedy Central Presents Jeff Dye*. From 2011 onward, he became a familiar face on ABC’s *Extreme Makeover: Home Edition*.

Dye hosted MTV's *Club New Year's Eve 2013 Live* from Times Square and appeared in Dierks Bentley’s acclaimed music video, *Drunk on a Plane*. In 2014, he contributed as a correspondent for Spike TV’s *Comic-Con All Access*.

He was a recurring cast member on NBC’s game show *I Can Do That* in the summer of 2015 and played a crucial role in the 2016 reality series *Better Late Than Never*, assisting stars like William Shatner and Terry Bradshaw on their Asian adventure. Dye continued with the show in 2017-2018 as they traveled through Europe and Morocco.

In 2019, he appeared in *The Wedding Year*, and he was a panelist on *The Masked Singer* and *I Can See Your Voice* in 2020 and 2021. In spring 2022, he began filming *Stealing Jokes*, his first feature film directed by Mike Young. Since March 29, 2018, he has hosted *Jeff Dye's Friendship Podcast
