Ocean Ramsey

Ocean Ramsey is a renowned ethologist and marine biologist, as well as an accomplished freediver and scuba instructor. She has made a name for herself as a dedicated advocate for shark conservation, drawing international attention through her daring free dives with various shark species, including the formidable great white shark. Her efforts aim to enhance awareness about the importance of shark preservation and to promote her business, which is based in Hawaii and focuses on facilitating encounters with marine wildlife while emphasizing educational experiences surrounding shark conservation.

Among the few individuals globally who have ventured underwater alongside great white sharks, Ramsey challenges the common perception of these creatures as mere predators, encouraging a view that recognizes them as vital, endangered species essential to the balance of marine ecosystems.
