JR Reed

JR Reed, born Jason William Reed on December 13, 1967, in Corvallis, Oregon, is a versatile American actor and singer celebrated for his distinctive character portrayals. He gained widespread recognition for his role as "Lee" alongside the renowned rock duo Tenacious D, contributing to their beloved television series and the 2006 film, The Pick of Destiny. Reed’s dynamic performances also brought him to the stage during the band's live concerts, showcasing his talent and charisma.

In 2002, Reed co-founded the band Trainwreck with Tenacious D's guitarist, Kyle Gass. As the lead vocalist, he helped shape the band's unique sound until its initial disbandment in 2010. However, Trainwreck made a comeback in 2018, rekindling the creative collaboration between Reed and Gass.

Beyond his work with Tenacious D and Trainwreck, Reed has made appearances in various television shows, web series, and films, often taking on diverse roles that highlight his acting range.
