Lorna Watson
Lorna Watson, born in 1977, is a talented British comedian, actress, and television presenter. She gained recognition for her role as one of the hosts on the show *Spy School*. Watson has showcased her versatile acting skills in various sketch comedies, including *Rush Hour*, *The Wrong Door*, and *Watson & Oliver*, where she performed alongside her comedy partner, Ingrid Oliver.
The duo first crossed paths at Tiffin Girls' School in Kingston upon Thames, and their shared passion for comedy drew inspiration from iconic figures like French & Saunders and Fry & Laurie. In March 2012, Watson and Oliver participated in *Let's Dance for Sport Relief*, performing a memorable rendition to Ravel's Boléro.
In 2013, she made an appearance as Sister Boniface in the *Father Brown* episode titled "The Bride of Christ." That same year, she also took part in a special edition of *The Great British Bake Off*. Two years later, in 2015, Watson portrayed the historical figure Boudicca in a special episode of *Horrible Histories* and appeared as 'Thingy' in the *Hotel Trubble* episode "Fashion Phonies."
In January 2020, it was announced that she would reprise her role as Sister Boniface in a new series called *Sister Boniface Mysteries*, which premiered on BritBox with a ten-episode first season. The show's second season aired in 2023, and Watson began filming for a third season set to broadcast in 2024, alongside her return to *Father Brown*.
