Ari Brisbon
Ari Brisbon hails from Providence, Rhode Island, where he graduated from the Hope High Arts Magnet. At the age of fourteen, he began his artistic journey at Everett’s conservatory. His talent was recognized in 2007 when he earned a $6,500 scholarship to participate in Brown University's Theatre Bridge program. In 2008, he showcased his skills by winning the Rhode Island State Shakespeare competition.
Ari became a key figure at Everett Company in 2010, contributing as both a creator and performer to innovative productions like "Brainstorm" and the "Freedom Project." He is currently involved in the production of "Bliss Body," an evocative piece that combines dance, imagery, and personal narratives to explore the concept of bliss.
In addition to his performance work, Ari is dedicated to youth mentorship, teaching improv theater to young people from low-income backgrounds at the Everett School. The year 2022 has been particularly productive for him, as he engaged in several film projects, including "Eephus," directed by Carson Lund, "A Quiet Road," helmed by Vega Montanez, and "Mr. Birthday," directed by Dan Hunter. Ari remains committed to his artistic ambitions while striving to dismantle social barriers and sharing his experiences with his students, ensuring that he imparts his passion and knowledge to the next generation.
