Keith Morrison, a prominent Canadian journalist born on July 2, 1947, has made a significant impact in the world of broadcast journalism. Since 1995, he has served as a correspondent for Dateline NBC, where his captivating storytelling has drawn in viewers and garnered critical praise.

Morrison began his career in the 1960s, working as a reporter and anchor for various local stations across Saskatchewan, Vancouver, and Toronto. In 1973, he joined CTV's Canada AM as a newsreader, where he also took on roles as a reporter and weekend anchor. His exceptional reporting on the Yom Kippur War earned him several awards. Between 1975 and 1979, he was a national affairs correspondent for CTV National News and served as a substitute anchor.

In 1982, Morrison transitioned to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as the Chief Political Correspondent for The Journal, contributing to significant public discourse until 1986. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he anchored the evening news for KNBC-TV and became a west coast correspondent for NBC News. During this time, he covered major events, including the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989.

Morrison returned to Canada in 1992 to co-anchor Canada AM and hosted PBS's The Editors. However, a network shakeup in 1995 led him back to NBC, where he continues to engage audiences with his work on Dateline NBC. His influence has also extended into pop culture, with appearances on shows like Seinfeld and parodies on Saturday Night Live.

In 2021, he launched a true crime podcast titled Killer Role. Morrison is married to Suzanne Langford, the mother of actor Matthew Perry, and they share six children.
