Eva-Marie Kung
Eva-Marie Kung was born in New York City, the daughter of an American mother and a Swiss-German father. Her formative years were spent in Vaud, Switzerland, where she discovered her passion for the performing arts. At just 15 years old, she began her stage career in Geneva and subsequently showcased her musical talent as a pianist, which led her to the Gymnase Auguste-Piccard in Lausanne. During her summers, she honed her acting skills at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the UK.
At 17, Eva-Marie moved to London to pursue a degree in Biological Sciences at University College London, where she was approached by her first modeling agency and made her film debut in The Circle (2017) as Claire. After earning her Zoology degree, she redirected her focus to acting, enrolling at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama under Amanda Brennan’s guidance.
Since graduating in 2017, she has maintained a dynamic career in the film industry, both in front of and behind the camera. Eva-Marie has taken on roles as an art director for projects like Outsiders (2021) and Sucker (2022), while also collaborating with notable directors such as Regan Hall and Pedro Allevato. An accomplished poet, her spoken word and classical poetry have been featured in esteemed journals. In recognition of her talent, she received a nomination for Best Actress at BAMV Fest 2021 for her role in the OMEN music video, which was showcased at the renowned South by Southwest Festival in 2022.
