Keith Morris, born on September 18, 1955, is a prominent American singer and songwriter celebrated for his influential contributions to the hardcore punk scene. Hailing from Hermosa Beach, California, Morris co-founded the iconic band Black Flag at the age of 21 alongside guitarist Greg Ginn, making a notable mark with their debut EP, "Nervous Breakdown," released in 1979. Shortly after departing from Black Flag that same year, he went on to establish the Circle Jerks with guitarist Greg Hetson. The Circle Jerks enjoyed a prolific career, producing seven albums from 1980 to 1995 while experiencing several breakups and reunions throughout the years. In 2009, Morris took another bold step by forming the supergroup Off!, collaborating with guitarist Dimitri Coats, bassist Steven Shane McDonald, and drummer Mario Rubalcaba. Beyond his band endeavors, Morris has also lent his vocal talents as a guest artist on various albums, further showcasing his versatility and influence in the music industry.
