Swara Bhasker
Swara Bhasker Chitrapu is an accomplished Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema. Born and raised in Delhi on April 9, 1988, she is the daughter of naval officer Chitrapu Uday Bhaskar. Swara completed her undergraduate studies in English literature at the University of Delhi before pursuing a master’s degree in Sociology at Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Swara made her cinematic debut in the 2009 drama *Madholal Keep Walking*, where she took on a supporting role, though the film did not achieve commercial success. Her breakthrough came with a significant supporting role in the hit romantic comedy *Tanu Weds Manu* (2011), where her portrayal of a bride-to-be captured the attention of both audiences and critics alike. This performance earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress, marking her ascent in the industry.
