Harley Francis Flanagan, born on March 8, 1967, is a notable American musician celebrated for his role as both bassist and vocalist in the influential hardcore punk band, the Cro-Mags. Flanagan's musical journey commenced at the young age of 11 in 1978 when he took up drumming for the New York punk outfit, the Stimulators, where he performed alongside his aunt, Denise Mercedes. By the early 1980s, he emerged as a key player in the burgeoning New York hardcore scene, co-founding the Cro-Mags in 1981 and Murphy's Law in 1982.

While Flanagan's affiliation with the Cro-Mags has seen him leave and rejoin the band multiple times, he remains the only artist to have contributed to every one of their studio albums, marking his enduring legacy in the punk genre.
