Rafael Banquells Garafulla, known professionally as Rafael Banquells, was a prominent figure in the world of Mexican entertainment, born on June 25, 1917, in La Habana, Cuba. Coming from a lineage of actors, with both parents performing in Spain, Banquells embarked on his acting career in the film industry in 1940, quickly establishing himself as a versatile talent in movies, theater, and television.
