Christopher Nolan
Sir Christopher Edward Nolan, CBE, born on July 30, 1970, is a prominent British-American film director, screenwriter, and producer. Hailing from Westminster, London, he possesses dual citizenship thanks to his American mother. Nolan is celebrated for his innovative storytelling and masterful direction in a series of critically acclaimed films, including *Memento* (2000), *The Prestige* (2006), *The Dark Knight Trilogy* (2005-2012), *Inception* (2010), *Interstellar* (2014), and *Dunkirk* (2017).
He founded his own production company, Syncopy Films, where he frequently collaborates with his wife, producer Emma Thomas, as well as his brother, screenwriter Jonathan Nolan.
