Keyshia Cole

Keyshia Myeshia Cole, born on October 15, 1981, is a prominent American singer, songwriter, and television personality. At just 15, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she caught the attention of A&M Records. Her debut album, *The Way It Is*, released in 2005, quickly gained traction, earning a gold certification in only 17 weeks and achieving platinum status just eight weeks later. The album, which remained on the charts for over a year, sold over 1.6 million copies, solidifying her as a rising star in the music industry.

Following the closure of A&M Records, Cole released her sophomore album, *Just Like You*, in 2007 under Geffen Records.
