Gary Orona
Gary Orona, born in 1964 in California, is a distinguished filmmaker and photographer whose career began at the young age of 18 when he joined the Ventura Star Free Press as a photographer. By 22, he earned a degree in film production from Columbia University and quickly established himself as a notable director and cameraman. Orona’s adventurous spirit and love for travel led him to Tokyo, Japan, where he was selected by EMI Records to produce, direct, and photograph over 100 music videos for the burgeoning Karaoke market.
In his mid-20s, Orona transitioned into producing and directing, gaining significant recognition when he served as the Director of Photography for Imperial Entertainment's film, The Bikini Carwash Company, released in 1992. He followed this success by directing its sequel, The Bikini Carwash Company II, in 1993, marking the beginning of a prolific film career.
Throughout his journey, Orona has directed and produced 65 episodes of adult shows for HBO and Cinemax, along with 15 feature-length films for the same networks. His independent film, "Trance," achieved the title of Best Picture at the New York International Film Festival. Additionally, he has created over 200 special event erotic shows for various platforms and has directed more than 100 music videos for EMI. As a photographer, his work has been featured in over 20 major publications.
Gary is married to adult actress Tabitha Stevens and was previously wed to model and actress Lauren Hays.
