Pia Thrasher

Pia Thrasher is a versatile actor, filmmaker, and visual artist, hailing from Germany. She began her artistic journey at the E.T.A. Hoffman Gymnasium, where she nurtured her passion for the arts. Later, she graduated from Euro Sprachschule Bamberg, specializing as a Foreign Language Correspondent with a focus on English. Pia's introduction to acting occurred during her fifth-grade years, participating in school theater and local productions in her hometown.

Upon moving to the United States, she gained experience on film sets as an extra, notably appearing in James Cameron's iconic film 'Titanic.' Driven by a desire to deepen her craft, Pia enrolled in acting classes and participated in showcases, which led to her landing speaking roles in student films. This experience bolstered her confidence and paved the way for supporting and lead roles in short films and independent projects.

In addition to acting, Pia expanded her skill set by working behind the camera on various film sets, enhancing her knowledge in filmmaking. Her directorial debut came in 2015 with the dark comedy short 'The Appointment.' Pia is poised to make waves in the film festival circuit with her upcoming projects, including the horror-comedy 'Things We Dig' and the crime thriller 'The Test,' both of which she wrote, directed, and starred in, set for release in 2021/22.
