Samo Rafael
Samo Rafael, born Samodra Angkasa Putro on March 1, 1995, is a multifaceted talent hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia, excelling as an actor, model, and musician. His journey in the entertainment industry began with modeling, which paved the way for his musical pursuits and ultimately led him to acting.
Samo comes from a diverse background, with Indonesian roots from his father, Untung Suwarto, and Scottish lineage from his mother, Frances Hazle. He has a younger sister, Mutiara Hazle, who shares in the spotlight. A devout Protestant Christian, he attended Pelita Harapan University, where he honed his artistic skills.
As the lead vocalist of the jazz fusion ensemble Macadamia Nutcrackers, Samo has made a significant impact on the music scene. In 2013, he became a member of the band Gemalara, contributing to the release of three notable singles: “Di Wajahmu Kulihat Bulan”, “Gemuruh”, and “Sepi”.
