Fernanda Romero
Fernanda Romero, born María Fernanda Romero Martínez in Mexico City in 1983, is a versatile Mexican actress, model, and singer. She gained widespread recognition for her leading role in the popular telenovela *Eternamente tuya*, as well as for her supporting performance in the American horror film *The Eye*.
Romero's journey in the entertainment industry began with her involvement in music, joining BMG's group Frizzby. The ensemble toured Central America and performed for Pope John Paul II at the renowned Estadio Azteca, where they showcased their hit singles that reached the top ten in the charts.
At just eighteen, she was featured in notable advertising campaigns for prominent brands such as Rock and Republic, Clean & Clear, Pepsi, Apple, and J.C. Penney. Her modeling work also graced the pages of esteemed magazines like GQ Mexico, OK Magazine Español, Reforma, and ELLE Mexico.
Romero's acting career took off when she hosted the Univision show *Control*, followed by a role in the Telemundo telenovela *La Ley del Silencio*. This led to her film debut in *Creature of Darkness*, paving the way for more significant roles.
Her breakthrough came with *The Eye*, which opened doors to Hollywood, where she appeared in films like *The Burning Plain*, *Drag Me to Hell*, and *Red Canvas*. In 2009, she returned to her roots, captivating audiences once again in *Eternamente tuya*.
