Rene Köster
Rene Köster, known in the performance world simply as Köster, was born on October 17, 1989, in Estonia. He has established himself as a multifaceted artist, excelling as a director, performance artist, musician, choreographer, and dancer.
Köster honed his craft at Tallinn University, where he earned a degree from the choreography department. His dedication to the art of dance is further reflected in his active membership in the Estonian Union of Dance Art and Dance Education.
A prominent figure in the Estonian drag scene, Köster is celebrated for founding the vibrant queer party series BÄM!, which has become a staple in the local nightlife. His contributions to the community extend beyond performance; in 2023, he expanded his influence by becoming one of the co-owners of Hungr, a community bar that serves as a gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
