Mihály Víg
Mihály Víg is an accomplished Hungarian musician, poet, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist. He is notably recognized as one of the founding members of the bands Trabant, active from 1980 until 1986, and Balaton, which has been performing since 1979. In addition to his work in music, Víg has made significant contributions to film through his collaborations with renowned director Béla Tarr. He has been involved in several of Tarr's cinematic projects, including the films Damnation and Sátántangó, in which he also portrayed a leading character. His artistic partnership with Tarr continued with other notable works such as Werckmeister Harmonies, The Man from London, and The Turin Horse. Through these collaborations, Víg has established himself not only as a versatile musician but also as an influential figure in the realm of film music.
