Sergei Khrustalev
Sergei Nikolaevich Khrustalev, born on August 20, 1973, in Moscow, is a distinguished Russian actor known for his work in theater, film, and television, as well as for his contributions as an educator. His passion for the performing arts emerged early, as he spent his formative years at the "Na Stromynke" theater studio. After graduating from the State School of Circus and Variety Arts in 1994, where he focused on the conversational genre, he further honed his craft at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts, specializing in both theater and film acting.
Khrustalev's theatrical career took off during his time at GITIS, where he performed in notable productions such as "The Case of the Metranpazh," "Wolves and Sheep," and "Untitled Play." He completed his military service with the Russian Army Theatre, and from 1994 to 2000, he showcased his talent in plays including "Much Ado About Nothing," "The Wizard of Oz," and "Adventures of Chipollino," while also contributing to the Moscow theater "Benefis."
In addition to his stage work, he ventured into television, hosting programs like "Granki-Sport" and "Megaloto." Moreover, he established his own acting school, the "Vinaigrette Theatre Studio."
Khrustalev made his film debut in the 1993 melodrama "Kumparsita," and has since appeared in a variety of films and series, including Vladimir Motylya's "Horses carry me" and adaptations of Chekhov's works.
