Satya Bhabha

Satya Sorab Bhabha, born on December 13, 1983, in London, is a talented British actor renowned for his memorable performances in the film industry. He gained significant recognition for his role as Matthew Patel, the inaugural "evil ex" in the critically acclaimed film *Scott Pilgrim vs. the World* (2010) and for his part in Salman Rushdie's *Midnight's Children*. Bhabha's early life saw him transition from London to the United States, where he spent his teenage years in Chicago.

He pursued higher education at Yale University, immersing himself in theater studies, where he not only acted but also directed various student productions, ultimately receiving the esteemed Louis Sudler Prize for Excellence in the Arts. In addition to his acting career, Bhabha is an accomplished musician, trained in classical cello, and has performed internationally with both symphony orchestras and chamber groups. He has even showcased his musical talents in an indie band.

In recent years, Bhabha has expanded his repertoire by stepping into directing, contributing to television projects like the HBO series *Gossip Girl*.
