Seeking to refine her skills, she ventured to the United States, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. While at university, she participated in the prestigious Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, earning accolades as the best Classical Actress in her region's semifinal round.
