Sean Dulake
Sean Dulake is a prominent American actor who has made significant strides in the South Korean entertainment industry and other Asian markets. Born on June 9, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, to a British father and a Korean mother, Sean’s multicultural background has been a cornerstone of his artistic journey. He completed his education at Boston University before honing his acting skills in the Los Angeles area.
In 2007, motivated by a desire to connect with his Korean roots, Sean relocated to Korea and enrolled at Seoul National University, where he focused on mastering the Korean language. His acting career took off with his debut in the historical drama “Jejoongwon” in 2010. He quickly became a familiar face on television, appearing in popular dramas such as “Athena: Goddess of War” and “Feast of the Gods,” both released in 2012, as well as “Take Care of Us, Captain” the same year.
In addition to his work in Korea, Sean has participated in American projects, including the short film “Morning Star” (2014) and the feature “Ktown Cowboys” (2015). Notably, in 2012, he served as the host of “Korea Next: Finding Hallyuwood,” a documentary aired on the Discovery Channel exploring the rise of the Korean Wave. Further showcasing his versatility, he starred in the Viki Original series “Dramaworld” (2016) and the web drama “Fake” (2017).
