Scott Ian
Scott Ian, born Scott Ian Rosenfeld on December 31, 1963, is a prominent American musician celebrated for his role as the rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the iconic thrash metal band Anthrax. With his distinct playing style, Ian has made significant contributions to the metal genre, helping shape its landscape since Anthrax's inception in 1981. In addition to his work with Anthrax, he is a founding member of the crossover thrash group Stormtroopers of Death, where he not only plays guitar but also serves as the primary lyricist.
Ian's influence extends beyond the music scene; he has also made a name for himself on television, hosting "The Rock Show" on VH1 and featuring in the network's "I Love the..." series, as well as the documentary "Heavy: The Story of Metal" and the reality show "SuperGroup."
