Jiah Khan was a talented British-American actress and singer known for her contributions to Bollywood, with a career spanning from 2007 to 2010. Born in New York City and raised in London, she came from a family with strong ties to the film industry, being the niece of actresses Sangeeta and Kaveeta. With a lifelong passion for acting, she relocated to Mumbai to pursue her dreams.

Khan made her cinematic debut in the 2007 film *Nishabd*, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, which earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She gained widespread recognition for her role in *Ghajini* (2008), a landmark film that became the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year. Her portrayal of an independent woman in this action thriller garnered her substantial praise and established her as a rising star.
