David Cuspinera
David Cuspinera embarked on his artistic journey at the Timpani, culminating in his graduation from the esteemed Barcelona Theater Institute, where he honed his skills in mime and pantomime. Concurrently, he launched his professional circus career, showcasing his talents as an acrobat, flying trapeze artist, and clown under the mentorship of renowned figures like Tortell Poltrona, Rogelio Rivel, and Toni and Piti Español.
Cuspinera's theatrical career has seen him collaborate with prominent companies such as Flotats, Dagoll Dagom, Teatre Lliure, Teatro Romea, and the Teatro Nacional de Catalunya. He has worked with distinguished directors including Domènec Reixach, George Lavaudant, Franco di Francescoantonio, Àlex Rigola, Josep Maria Flotats, and Iago Pericot, contributing to a wide array of stage productions.
In addition to his stage performances, Cuspinera has made his mark in film and television, appearing in works by acclaimed directors like Isabel Coixet, Agustà Villaronga, Rosa Vergés, and Joan Mallarach. His passion for the arts extends to directing youth musical theatre productions at the Romea Theatre and SAT, where he has brought to life classics such as "The Jungle Book," "West Side Story," "Hair," "Rent," "The Little Prince," "Les Dolces Cançons," and "The Lion King." Currently, he imparts his knowledge by teaching acrobatics at the Ateneu Popular de 9 Barris and circus and musical theatre techniques at various educational institutions and theatre creation centers.
