Tom Beyer
Tom Beyer is a celebrated actor and director known for his dynamic stage performances and innovative adaptations. His talent was recognized with an Ovation Award for his role in "The Cider House Rules" at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, a production directed by Tom Hulce and based on the acclaimed novel. Beyer also showcased his versatility in the musical "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," where he starred alongside Tony Award winner Alice Ripley at Reprise! in Los Angeles. His comedic prowess was highlighted in Jillian Armenante's farce "In Flagrante Gothicto," where he received a Garland Award for Best Ensemble in a Comedy for his unique portrayal of a 12-year-old French girl.
As an award-winning theatre director, Beyer has garnered praise for his creative interpretations of classic works, including "The Canterbury Tales." His career also includes significant contributions to Seattle's vibrant theatre scene, where he produced and performed in the acclaimed production of "Holy Days," written by Sally Nemeth. With three years as a company member of Book-It Repertory Theatre, he specialized in transforming literature into compelling stage performances.
After a brief return to New York, Beyer relocated to Los Angeles, where he continued to thrive in productions such as Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor," directed by Roger Rees at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. Outside of theatre, he is a passionate tap dancer, a classical organist, a piano enthusiast, a marathon runner, and holds a purple belt in Karate.
