David James Stuart Mitchell, born on July 14, 1974, is a celebrated British comedian, actor, and author. He gained fame as one half of the comedic duo Mitchell and Webb, alongside Robert Webb. Their collaboration reached new heights with the Channel 4 sitcom "Peep Show," where Mitchell portrayed the socially awkward Mark Corrigan, earning him the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy Performance in 2009.

Together, Mitchell and Webb crafted and performed in numerous sketch comedy series, including "Bruiser," "The Mitchell and Webb Situation," "That Mitchell and Webb Sound," and "That Mitchell and Webb Look."
