Ljubomir 'Kiki' Kapor
Ljubomir 'Kiki' Kapor was born in 1932 on the picturesque island of Korčula. He made his theatrical debut as a student at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Arts, performing in the inaugural production of the newly established Zagreb Drama Theatre with "Golgota," a play by Miroslav Krleža directed by Dr. Branko Gavella. This marked the beginning of a distinguished career in Croatian theatre, where he would go on to portray numerous memorable characters.
Kapor's professional journey commenced in 1958 with a role in the television series "Svemirska Patrola." He quickly gained recognition through his performances in popular series such as "Prosjaci i sinovi" (1972), directed by Antun Vrdoljak, and "U Registraturi" (1974), helmed by Joakim Marušić. His talent further shone in the beloved series "Velo Misto" (1980), also directed by Marušić.
In addition to his television acclaim, Kapor starred in several notable films, including "San o Ruži" (1986) directed by Zoran Tadić, "Život sa Stricem" (1988) by Krsto Papić, "Treća žena" (1997) again by Tadić, and "Maršal" (1999) directed by Vinko Brešan. In recent years, Kiki Kapor has remained active in the theater scene and continues to captivate audiences with his performances in various television series.
