Anne-Sophie Pic
Anne-Sophie Pic, born on July 12, 1969, in Valence, Drôme, France, is a celebrated French chef renowned for her culinary excellence and her remarkable achievement of regaining three Michelin stars for her flagship restaurant, Maison Pic. She is one of only four female chefs in the world to have earned this prestigious accolade and was recognized as the Best Female Chef by The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2011. Currently, she holds an impressive total of 10 Michelin stars across her establishments.
Growing up in a family of chefs—her father, Jacques Pic, and grandfather, André Pic, who first garnered three Michelin stars in 1934—Anne-Sophie initially veered away from the culinary path, opting instead to pursue management training abroad. However, her passion for cooking ultimately led her back to Maison Pic in 1992, where she began her culinary journey under her father's mentorship. After his untimely passing, she took over the restaurant in 1997 and set out to restore its former glory.
In 2007, Pic successfully reclaimed the third Michelin star for Maison Pic, marking a significant milestone in her career. She expanded her culinary empire with the opening of her second restaurant in Lausanne, Switzerland, which earned two Michelin stars in 2009, and launched La Dame de Pic in Paris in 2012, which has since received one Michelin star.
Her international presence grew with the opening of La Dame de Pic in London in 2017, which quickly earned two Michelin stars, and La Dame de Pic in Singapore in 2019, awarded one star in 2022. A member of the Prix Versailles judging panel and an active participant in culinary initiatives, Pic continues to influence the gastronomic landscape worldwide. She is married to David Sinapian and has a son named Nathan.
