Ryan Northcott, born on April 9, 1980, in Calgary, is a prominent Canadian actor known for his role in the film *Mystery, Alaska* and various television movies. He gained recognition for portraying Carl Wilson in the 2000 miniseries *The Beach Boys: An American Family*. In addition to his acting career, Ryan is a founding member of FUDDYTV.com and is celebrated online as Chuck Storm, the Action 5 News Reporter who famously hits a pole.

In May 2008, Ryan, along with fellow FUDDY members David Haysom and Erik Eldman, traveled to Belgium on behalf of Toyota to produce *Car Dance Party Belgium*, an advertisement that has achieved cult status in the region. The campaign showcases two of their popular characters, Boris and Juri, who teach viewers how to engage in a car dance party. Their efforts led to notable recognition, including a victory in a SuperU.ca contest, a screening of *Car Dance Party Moscow* at Just For Laughs in Montreal, and a MIXX award for their *Car Dance Party Belgium* campaign in collaboration with Happiness Brussels.

In December 2008, Ryan and FUDDYTV partnered with TrueCredit's advertising agency, Cramer-Krasselt, to create ten commercials for both TV and the web, among which the Chuck Storm commercial became especially prominent.
